Privacy

Last updated August 14, 2026

Rail keeps your wardrobe private by default. This policy explains what the app stores and confirms that your wardrobe never leaves your device.

01Everything stays on your device

Your photos and item details are stored locally on your device. Background removal runs on-device. Nothing about your wardrobe is uploaded to any server — Rail has no account system and no cloud storage.

02Purchases

Rail Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple; Rail never sees your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase status.

03Anonymous usage data

Rail collects anonymous usage data through a third-party analytics provider, to see how the app is used and to fix what isn’t working. It is tied to a random identifier created on your device, never to your name, email, or Apple ID, and never includes your photos. It covers anonymised recordings of app navigation in which images and text are masked, and any message you choose to send us from Settings. Data is processed in the EU.

You can switch it off at any time in Settings, under Data.

04What we don’t do

No advertising trackers, no ad networks, and no tracking of you across other apps or websites, which is why Rail never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. We don’t sell your data, and Rail has no social feed.
