Recaply has no accounts and no sign-in. Your recordings and notes live on your device, and we built it to stay that way.
We do not ask for your name, email, or any login. We collect only what is needed to run the service:
A temporary identifier to limit free trial abuse and meter usage. It is not tied to your identity. Your subscription status from Apple, so paid features unlock. We never receive your payment details.
Your recordings and notes are stored on your device. To create a note, your audio is sent for processing and the finished note is returned to you. We do not keep your audio or your notes on our servers.
Creating a note requires a third-party AI service to transcribe and summarize your recording. Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not sell your information, use advertising identifiers, or track you across other apps.
Because everything is on your device, you decide what to keep: delete a note in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove everything.
Recaply is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
